01
Where these standards apply
These standards apply to listener comments, live-room participation, call-in requests, messages submitted to LOGAM, user-supplied program or advertising material, and interactions on social-media pages or channels controlled by LOGAM. A third-party social network may also apply its own terms and moderation rules.
02
Respectful participation
Debate, questions, criticism and differing opinions are welcome when expressed lawfully and respectfully. Users should address ideas without targeting people with abuse, threats, humiliation, intimidation, discriminatory attacks or persistent unwanted conduct. Call-in participants must follow presenter instructions and avoid disclosing private information about another person without a lawful basis.
03
Prohibited cyber and social-media conduct
LOGAM prohibits identity theft, online impersonation, cyber bullying, threats, phishing, fraud, malicious links, malware, unauthorised access to data or systems, credential theft, account takeover, evasion of access controls, publication of unlawfully obtained personal data, child exploitation, and any other conduct prohibited by the Cyber Crime Act, Cyber Security Act or other applicable written law.
04
Unlawful or dangerous content
Content may be rejected or removed where it is unlawful, fraudulent, malicious, rights-infringing, exploitative, sexually abusive, dangerously deceptive, intended to facilitate a crime, or reasonably likely to expose a person to serious harm. LOGAM may also moderate spam, repetitive disruption and content that is materially unrelated to a live discussion or program.
05
Privacy, recording and call-ins
A person submitting a call-in request should provide only contact information necessary for the station to reach them. A caller who is connected to a live or recorded program may be heard by the public and the program may be recorded or archived where the caller has been appropriately informed or consented as required. Private phone numbers and internal moderation notes are not intended for public display.
06
Moderation and enforcement
LOGAM may hide, reject, remove, restrict or preserve content; suspend access; close a call-in request; or block abusive activity where reasonably necessary to enforce these standards or protect the service. Serious suspected offences or threats may be preserved and reported to competent authorities where required or permitted by law. Moderation is not a guarantee that every harmful post will be detected immediately.
07
User responsibility and rights
Users remain responsible for content they submit and must have the rights or permissions necessary to share it. Submitting content does not transfer ownership to LOGAM, but users grant LOGAM the limited permissions reasonably needed to display, moderate, broadcast, archive or process the submitted content for the requested station service, subject to applicable law and any specific agreement.
08
Reporting abuse
Suspected impersonation, cyber bullying, fraud, phishing, child-safety concerns, unlawful disclosure of personal data or other serious abuse should be reported through LOGAM Help & Support or other official reporting channels. Emergency or criminal matters should also be reported to the appropriate competent authority.
β

LOGAM applies these laws and standards only to the extent they lawfully govern the relevant service, processing activity, user or jurisdiction.
